About Us
The Sump is nestled on the banks of the River Trent in the charming village of Winshill, near Burton-on-Trent. We are not far from the National Forest, the beautiful Calke Abbey and of course Marston’s own Burton Brewery. There is always entertainment going on, including a poker night on Mondays, pub quiz night on Tuesdays and the new addition of a sports quiz on a Sunday. If that isn’t enough we also serve great pub food with a curry night on a Wednesday and grill night on a Thursday! So if you are in the area please drop by the Sump!
