Paul and Jayne Norris, who run the White Post pub at Farnsfield, between Newark and Mansfield, have launched a new family friendly, 2-for-the-price-of-1 menu.

“It’s great value for everyone, from businessmen to families,” explained Paul, who runs the pub with his wife Jayne.

“We’ll be offering lots of traditional favourites, such as steaks, lamb, lasagnes, pies, salads and loads more,” Paul added. “As well as the main menu, we’ll have at least 30 specials every day – and when you buy one main course, a second is absolutely free.”

With such a wide choice of food, Paul and Jayne will be catering to every taste.

“We’ve got a good choice of vegetarian food, for instance” said Paul. “And there’s a large range of wines, too.”

“We have a function room available that can seat up to 30 people and is excellent for things such as conferences or business and club meetings,” Paul explained.

There’s plenty of room outside, too.

“We have two patios – one is heated and the other has a children’s play area and there’s a very big car park.”

So it seems the White Post’s new 2-for-1 offer on main courses will really deliver.
