Cayo Arms

The Cayo’s name originates from a famous Welshmen called William Julian Cayo-Evans, the leader of the 'Free Wales Army'. So, if you ever come to Wales, be sure to raise a glass to Mr Cayo-Evans; in 'The Cayo Arms'. The Cayo is a friendly and welcoming traditional pub, with an easy going atmosphere. Situated just 10 minutes walk from the Millennium stadium and the vibrant city centre of Cardiff. We have 5 en-suite B & B rooms and a small conference room for hire, so, is ideal for business trips, family weekend breaks or sporting events. The long bar, substantially wooden, serves a wide range of real ales including a good selection of guest ales - The Cayo Arms was winner of the CAMRA Welsh Pub of the Year Award in 2001 and 2002. Our range of food is just as impressive, with daily specials and our city-famous Sunday roasts. The rear parking is accessed by a small lane to the side.
