More than a tonne of pumpkins and around ten thousand sausages will be used in Marston’s Inns and Taverns’ spooktacular new seasonal dish this Halloween.
Hobgoblin ale sausage and pumpkin mash are available now at selected pubs across the country.
Some 1,400 pumpkins will be used as part of the tasty winter warmer, plus thousands of sausages and several barrels of the ‘Unofficial Beer of Halloween.’
David Brown of Oakley farms in Cambridgeshire, said: “It’s quite an order, but they’re fantastic pumpkins this year and will be incredibly tasty with mash and Hobgoblin sausages.”
The dish is available at 222 Marston’s Inns and Taverns pubs until mid November.
Andrew Carlill, Marston’s Inns and Taverns commercial marketing manager, said: “Hobgoblin sausage and pumpkin mash is the perfect winter warmer this time of year and it’s just in time for National Sausage Week from November 1.”
