
The Romans took over Chester once again over the weekend, at the reopening of one of the city’s oldest pubs.
Ye Olde Custom House Inn re-opened on Saturday August 21, with an innovative new menu that will change every month - as well as plenty of delicious cask beers on tap.
The Watergate Street pub, owned by Marston’s Inns and Taverns, had been closed for the impressive refurbishment.
The mouth-watering menu includes breakfast, a range of scrumptious appetisers like baked camembert, juicy battered prawns with chilli sauce and tapas, and main meals like slow-cooked beef and Cumberland Ale pie and a cheesy Italian risotto.
