New pub and restaurant opens in Caterham

Ladybird pubThe Ladybird in Caterham’s opened to the public on 30 November and early signs are it’s a long awaited addition to the town.

The pub offers classic dishes such as succulent chickens on a rotisserie, steak and ale pie and beer battered fish and chips as well as an extensive range of cask beers.

More than 40 new jobs have been created by the pub, fostering its position in the local community. To further cement this relationship a ‘time capsule’ ceremony is planned for early January giving local school children the chance to bury items of importance to them now, for future generations to enjoy in the future.

The Ladybird seats up to 180 diners in a warm, relaxed atmosphere and is one of more than 60 planned to be built by Marston’s Inns and Taverns, as part of a drive to provide top quality pubs across Britain.
